Become proactive in maintaining creative control over one’s course. This helps guarantee that the course retains the same quality from year to year.
Provide clear requirement/expectations of the students. This information should be readily available for students to review. Students can assess if the requirements/expectations mesh with their educational goal and help them pose any questions before the class begins.
Keep the teacher to student ration low. This can encourage higher interaction among the students, in addition, low student numbers allow for easy monitoring of class assignments. I think the lower numbers would assist the instructor in providing quick feedback and responses to questions.
