I wanted to design the main room to include needed elements to encourage discussion (chat), share websites (web link and share), and our goals for the class (note). These elements will be effective in the flow of the lesson.

The breakout rooms included an additional element, the whiteboard, so that the learners could use whiteboard tools to help them clarify ideas to their partner and provide visual feedback.
