3 separate layouts are available for use.
- Main screen sharing layout
- Poll layout
- Shared Whiteboard/discussion layout

Attendee list – seemingly superfluous, the instructor needs to see who is logged and present. Also useful for collaborative discussions since it allows for status changes (raise hand, agree, etc.)

Screen sharing pod - to share slide presentation and images. A bulk of the course will use this pod

File Uploads pod – to upload ppt file and additional resources such as pdfs and MS Word docs. Sample labels are available for download and viewing. These will be used during parts 1-3 of the lesson.

Poll pod – for pre and post assessment. These pods will help us gauge the baseline level of knowledge of our students before the lesson. We will also have the main poll assessments at the conclusion of the lesson.

Chat pod– for synchronous communication thoughout the lesson

Web Links pod – For links to external web resources and additional info

Notes pod – not sure what this would be used for but seems to me like
something handy to have around.

In sum, these three layout utilizing these tools give me everything needed to facililtate an engaging and dynamic lesson on nutrition facts labels. I can pre-assess, instruct directly, collaborate in real time and post-assess pretty seamlessly.
