In the second lesson I plan to use more interactive features that require less talking and more visual participation.

1. I plan to incorporate the whiteboard features allowing the participants to post their thoughts on the speech videos as they are playing to create a running tab of comments for all to see (and not be hidden as in a chat comment).
2. Polls will again be used throughout the lesson to encourage active participation and feedback to them. If they don't understand a poll (quiz) item, this will give them a chance to ask questions.
3. The ability to stream video will be very important so that the participants can work together on a speech evaluation in real time.
4. If I were designing this for a real class with lots of students, I would likely use break out rooms and have groups of students work together on evaluating a speech and then come back to the main room and report on their evaluations together.
