Justin Olaguer Adobe Connect Features
The following Adobe Connect features will be used for my lesson:
Sharing of video
• Use of video by facilitator to help discuss during lecture Power Point slides to give the course a more personal feel. The students need to feel comfortable and that the instructor is a real human not a mindless robot.
Sharing of Audio
• The facilitator will use audio during the Power Point slides to discuss what the learners sees during the lesson which will help reinforce learning.
Sharing of Power Point slides
• Power Point slides will be used to during each of the chunked session for the entire lesson. The Power Point slides will give be the main tool of presenting the curriculum and information to the learners.
Polling
•The poll will be given at the beginning of the course and at the end of the course. The purpose of the Polling feature is to determine the learner’s progress from the beginning of the course to the end. The poll will help the learners develop their own pace of learning because it will determine if their understanding of the curriculum has progressed or not.
Microphones
•The microphone feature will be used at the end of the course to have brief discussions to engage the learners on the information that they just learned.
Chat
• The chat feature will be used throughout the lesson as a means for learners to ask questions anytime if they do not want to use the microphone. The chat will also be tool for the students to interact with each other and to ask questions.
